Nebraska Wool Quilt Batt

These 100% wool quilt batts are made here at The Fiber Mill in Stromsburg, Nebraska of Nebraska-grown Suffolk Cross Wool. Our wool is sourced from small farmers who take exceptional care of their sheep. Wool is warm, light, and eco-friendly. Suffolk wool has the added advantage of not felting or matting like other breeds and types of wool. <br /><br />Quilt batts measure approximately 36″ by 80″, and come in two weights– one pound and one and a half pound. That is the weight of the wool before we send it through our 1929 Saco-Lowell carder, so finished batts vary in weight and are usually one to two ounces lighter.
