Baa Baa Bubble Bath is our own proprietary wool scouring detergent, used for removing dirt and lanolin from raw fleeces while keeping fleeces soft and springy! This detergent has been tested and specially formulated to work to remove lanolin and dirt from fleeces efficiently, without damage. Baa Baa Bubble Bath is hypoallergenic with a light clean scent. (We use this detergent in our commercial wool mill, and it does not bother the worker with a detergent allergy nor the one with scent sensitivity. If you are concerned about your reaction, please order a small amount to test before regular use.)
This detergent also works well on other fibers such as alpaca, llama, yak, angora, mohair, bison, and qiviut. Reduce the amount used to reduce waste and excess suds.
Use 2 Tablespoons per gallon of hot water, or 1/3 cup per ten gallons. For best results, use soft water between 160 and 180 degrees. Usual use is presoak, wash with detergent, wash, rinse, rinse. Extremely dirty or greasy fleeces may require extra washes.
This product has not been tested for biodegradability.
