Cozy Alpaca is a wonderful DK to Worsted weight yarn from Ella Rae that is a soft blend of 30% alpaca, 70% acrylic. Cozy Alpaca is machine washable on cold; lay flat to dry. Great for baby clothes, or a warm, soft, washable alternative for people who are allergic to to wool. Unlike other alpaca yarns, this yarn has some “bounce” and memory, due to the acrylic content, making it a great choice for sweaters and hats!
Cozy Alpaca knits with 4.5 stitches to the inch on a US size 8 needle, and has approximately 178 yards per 100 gram twisted hank. Cozy Alpaca crochets to approximately 3 stitches to the inch on a size I hook. Machine wash cold, lay flat to dry.
