Flannel petticoats are a fun and appropriate way to add warmth to your 19th Century wardrobe! This style of petticoat was used, with minor variations, from the 1830’s through the 1910’s. Pattern booklet includes research and photos of original petticoats, instructions for sewing a flannel petticoat, and a pattern for knitting lace trim. Suggested needle size, US 0 or 1. Suggested yarn weight, laceweight.
Lace yarn included is Brown Sheep Legacy Lace 75% wool, 25% nylon. It is the same weight and texture as the original used. Needles included are Chiao Goo Stainless Steel double points, as that is what would have been used historically.
